Scott Branan, President of the homeowners association, presented Rosemary Thomas a special recognition award from the board for her very special yard. The board recognized that as head of the yard of the month committee, she could not award herself so we wanted to recognize her hard work. Standing with her is Kathy Barret, who was also awarded along with Rosemary, a gift certificate of $50 to Calloway's for their combined service to our community for the yard of the month. Not present but also given a special award of $50 at Amazon.com was Tricia Lindsey, who has served the community by organizing all of our social events including National Night Out, and Spring Fling, and our Annual Garage sale. She has done a lot of other things, too, including Christmas lights at our entrances and reporting when our sprinkler system is not behaving as it should. We are grateful for this busy Mom who is such a big contributor!!
